Introduction

The Asia-Pacific Conference on Synthetic Aperture Radar (APSAR) is an international conference devoted to SAR technology development and applications. The APSAR is a forum of SAR engineers and scientists from all over the world, especially from the Asia-Pacific region. The bi-annual APSAR conference will be held every two years in China, Japan, Korea, Australia, and Singapore, in turn.

 

The First APSAR (APSAR 2007) conference has been held in Nov.5-9, 2007 at Huangshan city, Anhui, China. APSAR 2007 was very successful. 254 authors and experts attended the conference.

 

The radar and SAR expert community of the Asia-Pacific region approved that the Second International Asia-Pacific Conference on Synthetic Aperture Radar (APSAR 2009) will be held during October 26-30, 2009, in Xi'an, China.
